Acupuncture

 

Acupuncture used at Acupuncture and Allergic Clinic is the ancient healing art and science in its

traditional form.  Acupuncture is one of the most

effective ways to unblock energy flow and restore the body to a state of balanced “Qi”.  To treat a patient, the acupuncturist uses thin, light needles on carefully selected acupoints to increase endorphin levels,

stimulate blood circulation, relax muscles, relieve pain and clear Qi stagnation in order to balance the

Yin/Yang of the entire body. 

The acupuncture points are chosen based on the appropriate TCM diagnosis and the

meridian theory.  There are 12 regular

meridians and 8 extra meridians running through the whole body, all of which are connected by many minor connecting

meridians to form a web of continuous

channels for Qi (vital energy) and blood to circulate in.
