Electrical Stimulation

 

Very low-level electrical current used in conjunction with needle acupuncture.  This is often used for muscle spasms and acupuncture analgesia and to enhance point stimulation in general.  Electrical stimulation is a fairly recent development in Chinese medicine and is considered a modern technique.
