Moxibustion

 

Moxa is a Chinese herb (mugwort) used in conjunction with needle acupuncture.  The heat stimulation of this aromatic herb creates a sensation which is warming, regulates blood circulation and the Qi.  Where appropriate, moxibustion is included with an acupuncture visit.
